Tear Drops

as i lay on my bed
memories came back so right
every little thing you said to me
kept on singing like a song in my head.

but when you said the word "we're through"
i can't imagine it was said by you.
and when you kissed me for the very last time
i cried and wished to stop the time.

what were you up to? i asked you
you said you found someone true
and he made your world so new
but loving with all my heart
would really make me depressed when we're apart.

but i know that it will never be
and teardrops fall from my eyes
while i say, " you are free"
